The terms "We", "Us", "Our" and "Company" refer to Aaryavarta Technologies Private Limited, and the terms "Visitor", "Customer" and "User" refer to any person who visits https://www.durgdarshan.com, purchases a DurgDarshan VR device, accesses preloaded 360-degree fort experiences, or uses any related application, software, support or service. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Website or purchasing or using any DurgDarshan product. By continuing to use the Website, placing an order, activating a device or accessing the content, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this page, and the revised terms will apply from the date they are published.
All logos, trademarks, names, designs, photographs, 360-degree panoramas, videos, audio, maps, illustrations, 3D models, software, user interfaces, written material and other content appearing on the Website or supplied with a DurgDarshan VR device are owned by, licensed to, or lawfully used by the Company and its partners. The content is provided only for personal, educational and non-commercial viewing unless written permission states otherwise. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, distribute, publicly display, reverse engineer, extract, reproduce or commercially exploit any part of the Website, device software or heritage content without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.
(A) Security Rules: Visitors and Users must not attempt to access data, accounts, servers, device functions or software that they are not authorised to access; probe or test any system or network without permission; bypass security, licensing or access controls; introduce viruses, malware or harmful code; interfere with service availability; overload or disrupt the Website or device; or send unsolicited communications using our systems. Suspected violations may be investigated and may be reported to appropriate authorities where required.
(B) General Rules: Visitors and Users must not use the Website, VR device, software or content for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening or infringing purpose. Users must not damage heritage-related content, misrepresent the authenticity of digital reconstructions, remove proprietary notices, create unauthorised copies, use the device in an unsafe manner, or violate the intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights of any person or organisation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from the User's unlawful use of the Website, VR device, software or content; breach of these Terms; unauthorised modification or resale; infringement of third-party rights; or unsafe use contrary to the instructions supplied with the product.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the Website, VR device, software or content, including loss of data, business interruption or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits the Customer's statutory consumer rights. Where liability may lawfully be limited, the Company's aggregate liability relating to a specific product or order will not exceed the amount paid for that product or order.
The Website, VR device and preloaded 360-degree fort experiences are provided for tourism, education and entertainment. Digital views, reconstructions, narration, maps and historical descriptions may be simplified, interpreted or updated and should not be treated as professional archaeological, architectural, navigation, medical or safety advice. Virtual Reality may cause eye strain, dizziness, nausea, disorientation or loss of balance in some users. Use the device only in a clear and safe area, follow all manufacturer instructions, take regular breaks, and stop immediately if discomfort occurs. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every accessory, permanent availability of every experience, or that the Website or connected services will always be error-free.
DurgDarshan is a heritage-technology brand operated by Aaryavarta Technologies Private Limited.
DurgDarshan offers VR devices with preloaded 360-degree experiences of historic forts and related educational content. Depending on the product purchased, the device may include software, storage, controllers, accessories, updates, guided experiences and support services. Product features, included forts, storage capacity, accessories and connectivity requirements are those stated on the relevant product page, invoice or package at the time of purchase.
Any person using the DurgDarshan Website, VR device, application, preloaded content, software, account, technical support or related services is bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any product-specific instructions, warranty terms, safety notices, licence conditions and policies referred to on the Website or supplied with the product.
DurgDarshan may update these Terms, product instructions, software, content libraries, support procedures or service conditions when reasonably necessary for legal, technical, security or operational reasons. Updated Terms will be posted on the Website and may also be communicated through email, account notices, device notifications or other appropriate channels. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires separate consent.
Certain products, software features, subscriptions, accessories, payment options or support services may be subject to additional conditions. Where additional conditions apply, they will be presented before purchase or activation. If there is an inconsistency, the product-specific conditions will apply to that particular product or service, subject always to applicable law.
Restrict, suspend or terminate access to online services where required for security, maintenance, legal compliance or breach of these Terms; update, replace or discontinue software features or individual virtual experiences; remove unlawful or infringing material submitted by a User; deactivate accounts used fraudulently or unlawfully; establish reasonable technical and usage limits; and take appropriate technical or legal action where a User tampers with the device, bypasses security controls, distributes unauthorised copies or otherwise misuses DurgDarshan products or services. Any action will remain subject to applicable consumer law and existing contractual obligations.
Where a paid digital service is suspended or withdrawn solely because of a verified deficiency attributable to DurgDarshan, the Company will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the applicable service terms and law. No refund will be due for suspension caused by the User's breach, unauthorised modification, non-payment, misuse, unsupported third-party accessories, or circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control. Users may receive essential service, safety, order and product communications; promotional communications may be managed through the available preference or unsubscribe options.
Orders may be placed through the Website or another authorised sales channel. Prices, taxes, shipping charges, included accessories and available offers will be displayed before payment or confirmed on the invoice. Payment must be completed through an approved payment method. An order is accepted only when the Company confirms it and may be declined or cancelled for product unavailability, incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, payment failure, delivery limitations or legal restrictions. Any approved refund will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method, subject to the payment provider's processing time.
DurgDarshan products include software, 360-degree fort photography, video, narration, sound, graphics, maps, 3D assets, interfaces, documentation and other material created or licensed by the Company, its partners, photographers, historians, developers and content providers. All associated intellectual-property rights remain with their respective owners. Purchase of a device gives the Customer ownership of the physical product but only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the included software and digital content. No ownership of the software or content is transferred.
Users may request permission to reproduce or use DurgDarshan content for educational, institutional, media or commercial purposes by contacting the DurgDarshan support team. Permission is valid only when provided in writing and may be subject to attribution, usage limits or licence fees.
Users are responsible for any reviews, photographs, messages, feedback or other material they submit through DurgDarshan channels. Each User confirms that they have the right to submit that material and that it does not infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights, contain unlawful content, or misrepresent the product or heritage location. The Company may remove material that violates these Terms or applicable law.
By voluntarily submitting feedback, reviews or other content for publication, the User grants DurgDarshan and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and distribute that content for operating, improving and promoting DurgDarshan, subject to the User's privacy rights and any restrictions stated at the time of submission.
This licence may be used to display User content on DurgDarshan websites or applications, share published reviews through Company media, maintain backups, and adapt formatting for different devices or platforms. The Company will not claim ownership of the User's original content. Names, logos, trademarks and other proprietary rights belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
Third-Party Sites, Services and Products: DurgDarshan may contain links to websites, payment services, courier platforms, app stores, maps, media or accessories operated by third parties. Use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A link or reference does not necessarily constitute endorsement, and DurgDarshan is not responsible for third-party content or practices beyond its reasonable control.
Transactions and communications with third-party payment providers, delivery partners, warranty centres or accessory suppliers may also be subject to their individual terms. Users should review those terms before proceeding. Questions or complaints concerning a third-party service should first be directed to the relevant provider, although DurgDarshan will provide reasonable assistance for issues directly connected with an order placed through an authorised DurgDarshan channel.
Some historical information, maps, photographs, translations or references may be supplied by third parties. DurgDarshan takes reasonable steps to present useful and responsible content but does not guarantee that every historical interpretation is complete, current or free from disagreement. Virtual reconstructions and illustrative elements may represent informed interpretations rather than the exact original appearance of a structure.
The following policy applies to DurgDarshan VR devices and accessories purchased directly from an authorised DurgDarshan sales channel. Product-specific return, replacement and warranty conditions displayed at checkout, on the invoice or on the product page form part of these Terms. Nothing in this policy limits any remedy available under applicable consumer law.
Customers should inspect the package and product promptly after delivery. If a device or accessory is delivered damaged, defective, incomplete or different from the confirmed order, contact DurgDarshan support within the period stated in the applicable return policy and provide the order details, photographs or video, packaging information and a description of the issue. After verification, the Company may arrange troubleshooting, repair, replacement, collection or refund as appropriate. Damage caused after delivery by misuse, impact, water, unauthorised repair, incorrect charging, modification or failure to follow instructions may not qualify for a free remedy, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Online payments are processed through third-party payment gateways and financial institutions. Approval, rejection, authentication, settlement and processing times are controlled partly by those providers. DurgDarshan does not store full card credentials where the payment provider handles them. If an amount is debited but the order is not confirmed, the transaction will be reviewed and any verified reversal or refund will be made to the original payment method in accordance with the payment provider's process.
DurgDarshan may verify order, contact, billing, delivery or identity information when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, confirm delivery, process warranty support or comply with law. Verification may occur by phone, email, one-time password or document request. If verification cannot be completed, the order may be placed on hold or cancelled and any eligible payment returned to the original payment method. Information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Discounts, bundles, coupons, launch offers, referral benefits or promotional accessories may be subject to availability, eligibility, time limits and separate conditions. Promotions may be modified or withdrawn before an order is accepted. Where an accepted order is affected by a verified Company error, DurgDarshan will offer an appropriate correction, replacement, cancellation or refund in accordance with applicable law.
Virtual Reality should be used responsibly and only in accordance with the device manual, safety instructions and age guidance supplied with the product. Users are responsible for preparing a safe viewing area and ensuring that children or persons requiring assistance are appropriately supervised.
To request a refund, replacement or repair, contact DurgDarshan support with the order number, purchaser details, reason for the request and supporting evidence. Requests will be assessed under the return, warranty and cancellation conditions applicable to the order. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed in writing. Shipping, inspection and processing times may vary according to the issue and delivery location.
A Customer may stop using connected services or request closure of a DurgDarshan account by contacting support. Account closure does not cancel completed purchases, outstanding payments, warranty conditions, software licences or obligations that are intended to survive termination. Before closure, the Customer should download or retain any information they require. Certain records may continue to be retained where necessary for orders, warranty, fraud prevention, legal compliance or dispute resolution.
If an optional account remains inactive for an extended period, DurgDarshan may contact the User, restrict inactive features or close the account after reasonable notice, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Closing an inactive account does not disable permanently preloaded offline content that the Customer is licensed to use, unless that content requires activation, subscription or online verification disclosed before purchase.
Accounts or devices used in breach of these Terms may have access to connected services restricted or terminated. DurgDarshan may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect intellectual property, comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
DurgDarshan aims to provide clear product information and reliable customer service. A Customer may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting support with the order details. Where cancellation is possible, any eligible amount will be returned to the original payment method. After dispatch or delivery, the request will be handled under the applicable return, replacement and refund policy. Customised, activated, digitally delivered or specially configured products may be subject to additional cancellation restrictions disclosed before purchase. Orders may also be cancelled by DurgDarshan because of stock unavailability, payment failure, incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, delivery limitations or circumstances beyond reasonable control, in which case any amount received for the cancelled order will be refunded.
